The mission of Extreme Camp is to enrich the lives of Deaf, Hard of Hearing, hearing youth.Self-esteem doesn't come from somebody telling you that you are good at something or that you are special. It comes from a feeling of competence and really accomplishing something worthwhile.
How do you do that?
By providing a summer camp that strives to:
Instill leadership skills
Promote peer & social interaction
Deaf pride
Build self-esteem
This program will offer an intensive American Sign Language experience that facilitates learning with recreational activities, and information on Deaf culture. The camp is for Deaf and Hard of Hearing youth.CODA'S and hearing youth who are interested in ASL are also welcome.

Ok Where Is It?
Cross Point Camp is located on a wooded peninsula surrounded by the waters of beautiful Lake Texoma. All facilities are air-conditioned and winterized.

CLIMBING/RAPPELLING TOWER
Six story tower with two sides for climbing and two sides for rappelling. Facilitators required. Stairway to the top provides a great bird’s-eye view of the Lake Texoma area and a great mediation area.
RECREATION
Lighted concrete play slab with basketball, four square and volleyball. Large field for soccer, football, backstop for softball. Two horse shoe pits. Lakefront access with boat dock, swimming, fishing, canoes, paddle boats and other water activities.
CHALLENGE COURSE
Initiatives to help build teamwork, trust and confidence for individuals and groups.The course has eleven individual low elements and twelve elements on the high course plus a “Power Pole.” The low elements must be completed in order to do the high elements.
Croaa Point is an Oklahoma United Methodist Camp and is open to all persons regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, disability, age or gender.
